Nationalmuseum is Sweden's museum of art and design. It is also a government agency. Employees number around 130. All open roles are listed on our website. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept speculative applications.
Our collections will be exhibited on Blasieholmen, in central Stockholm, when we reopen October 13 2018. We also exhibit collections at 20 other sites, including Gripsholm Castle, Läckö Castle and Gustavsbergs Porslinsmuseum.
The collection consists of historic paintings, sculpture, prints and drawings and decorative art and design from ancient times to the modern day. We are also the head of the National Portrait Gallery.
Nationalmuseum has a successful exhibition programme and extensive exhibitions and loans programme and publishing activities.
