The collection of drawings and graphic art comprises approximately 500 000 works from the Late Middle Ages to around 1900. There are more than 2 000 master drawings acquisitioned by Count Carl Gustaf Tessin during his time as a Swedish ambassador in Paris.
The collection of works by Rembrandt, Antoine Watteau, Édouard Manet, Johan Tobias Sergel, Carl Fredrik Hill and Ernst Josephsson is of particular importance.
