From 12 november
Nationalmuseum has the world’s largest collection of portrait miniatures. We are pleased to now be able to show parts of this treasure trove again. Acquisitions from the last twenty years will be presented side by side with older parts of the collection. You will see about 200 of the collection’s 5 000 pieces, selected to illustrate various themes such as technology and function, individual artistry, self-portraits and collectors.
