A& E Design
This exhibition is based on the donation of handmade models and prototypes that Nationalmuseum received in 2015 from the Swedish design company A&E Design.
Tom Ahlström and Hans Ehrich founded A&E Design in 1968, and have since designed a wide range of ergonomic everyday objects for Swedish and international clients. For example, the 1230 dish brush, designed for Jordan, has sold 67 million copies. The M80 queue ticket dispenser, designed for Turn-O-Matic, can be found in most supermarkets.
The exhibition features prototypes, sketches, drawings, and finished products from the well-known design firm's diverse production archive.
