Kickstart the weekend at Nationalmuseum! On Thursday evenings, the museum is abuzz with people, art and live music, with FREE admission for everyone from 5pm to 8pm.

Short pop-up viewing in English
Join a pop-up viewing and discover a lot in a short time! In just 15 minutes, one of the museum’s experts will introduce you to a selected artwork. Free admission, no pre-registration required. The viewings are held in English.

Thursday evenings curated by Third Culture Kids
Free Thursday evenings at Nationalmuseum — with art, bar vibes, and music. This evening’s program is curated by the team behind the brand Third Culture Kids. Under the theme I Don't See Color! we explore how first impressions shape how we are seen.

Free drop-in in the studio
Come and be creative in the Nationalmuseum’s studio! On Thursday evenings this autumn, you can explore some of the fundamental materials and techniques of art. Try drawing or water colour painting. Free drop-in. No prior experience needed. Open to all!

Jazz in the grand staircase
Live music featuring current musicians and ensembles from Stockholm’s jazz scene. Listen to both established names and new voices. The music is performed in three 30-minute sets. Free admission, no advance booking required.

Sculpture Sketching
Try sketching using sculptures as models. We draw them from different angles and at different speeds and train the eye to see shapes, directions and movements in something that is completely still. Free admission, drop-in.
