Become a colour explorer! Put on a lab coat, slip on a pair of color goggles, and step through the colour portal. Experience and explore colour in different ways in the exhibition’s vibrant and immersive rooms. Colour! is a sensory and playful exhibition aimed at children aged 6–12 and their curious grown-ups.
Colours are all around us—in our lives and in art—but what is colour really? Where does it come from? And how does it affect us? In the different rooms of the exhibition, you can explore what colour is and how it feels, using all your senses and your whole body.
Discover surprising materials used to create colour – from sparkling minerals to dried little insects. Visit a small museum that seems to have lost all its colour. Feel the energy of bright yellow, and take a moment to rest in the calming blue. And imagine – hidden within the seemingly colourless white light is an entire rainbow.
