About the Art Library
The Art Library collection reflects the art collections and activities of Nationalmuseum and Moderna Museet and the material primarily covers the period from the Renaissance to the present day. A large part of the library’s collection comprises artist monographs, catalogues of art collections, and auction and exhibition catalogues. The library also has a large collection of press clippings.
Much of the collection is in storage and items are collected from the stocks on request. To make sure items are available when you visit the library, please make your request in advance.
You can also visit the Archives of Nationalmuseum when the library is open.
