The spectacular features of the South courtyard include a roof composed of glass pyramids and the elevator tower enveloped in braided brass ribbons. They add character to the space, which serves as the museum’s auditorium. This is an ideal venue for conferences, lectures, or larger meetings. The Southern Atrium can also serve as a party venue, for social eventes with or without a bar.

The South Courtyard is part of Nationalmuseum's public space, therefore it can only be booked before or after regular opening hours.
