The beautiful Nationalmuseum in a New Light tells the history of the Nationalmuseum building and the major renovation 2013–2018. The book is richly illustrated with, among other things, original water colour drawings, archival images and newly taken photographs. Art Treasures from the Collections take the reader on a tour among art, applied arts and design objects from the 16th century up until today. With many images, short texts describing the objects and longer articles on eras and styles, it gives a clear picture of the richness and breadth of the collections. The book, with Rembrandt's Kitchen Maid on the front cover and the velvet smooth and embossed back cover, satisfies aesthetic as well as tactile needs. Now SEK 275 (word price SEK 344).
