The traveling exhibition From Dawn till Dusk changed names to The Nationalmuseum of Stockholm at Blaafarveværket when it was on show at Blaafarveværket in Modum, Norway. The exhibition highlighted the artistic development that took place in the Nordic countries around the turn of the century, when artists travelled abroad to paint sun-drenched motifs, and eventually returning painting Nordic landscapes in the twilight hour.
The exhibition presented some 70 works from Nationalmuseum’s collections by amongst others Carl Larsson, Anders Zorn, Bruno Liljefors, August Strindberg, Vilhelm Hammershøi, Eilif Peterssen, L.A. Ring, Richard Bergh and Bertha Wegmann.
