How do designs evolve? How do designers and producers work? Using exampels from the NM& project – which has resulted in the furniture and fittings for Nationalmuseum's restaurant – working material, sketches, and films that describes what can happen are presented.
The artistic collaboration NM& has resulted in Nationalmuseum’s new restaurant interior. The designers Matti Klenell, Carina Seth Andersson, Gabriella Gustafson (TAF Studio), Mattias Ståhlbom (TAF Studio) and Stina Lövgren developed the concept, designed the fixtures, furniture and tableware. They were also asked to invite other external specialists, making it more of a collective project. In total, around thirty designers and twenty producers have participated – a tour de force resulting in 550 square metres of new interiors and around eighty new objects.
