We are delighted that your group would like to visit the National Museum. Here we have gathered information about what you need to know to ensure an enjoyable and safe visit together with the museum's other visitors.
Pre-register your visit
We kindly ask you to pre-register your visit with us at least one week in advance, even if you are visiting on your own.
Send an email to bokningen@nationalmuseum.se and include
- The date and approximate time of your visit
- How many people are in your group
- Which parts of the museum you plan to visit
Please contact us well in advance. If there are many activities planned in the rooms you want to visit, we can help you find a better time so that you have the best possible experience.
Group size
For groups visiting the museum on their own, we accept a maximum of 20 people per group.
Split up
The National Museum displays a large number of artworks and objects in its exhibition rooms. To ensure that individual visitors and groups can enjoy the museum in a safe and enjoyable manner, we ask visiting groups to split up during their tour of the rooms. Please do not block passageways for other visitors
