The images are free to use accompanied by photo credit and when illustrating editorial publicity directly related to the Nationalmuseum, Stockholm.

Filming and photography on location
You are allowed to film and photograph for personal use in the public spaces in the museum buildning as long as you do not use flash or a tripod. Some temporary exhibitions, or items in exhibitions, may be excepted. All other filming and photography requires a written photo permit.
To apply for a photo permit for filming or photography in the museum building, or other locations connected to Nationalmuseum, send a brief description of the project to

We can not handle applications for photo permit when you are in the museum.
