We embark on a journey of discovery through the collections, exploring selected highlights from art, crafts, and design. Experience both newly acquired works of art and old favourites in this 60-minute guided tour of the Nationalmuseum.
During the tour, we encounter a wide variety of genres and discuss concepts such as the canon of art, as well as what makes certain works stand out as highlights while others fade into obscurity.
The museum’s presentation of its collections follows an imagined timeline through the beautiful galleries, where art, applied arts, and design are displayed together to provide a deeper understanding of – and new perspectives on – different periods.
