Book your group, association, or company for a private guided tour of the exhibition Sergel.

During the tour, the museum's art experts will take you on a journey through Johan Tobias Sergel's life and artistry. Through drawings, sculptures, and personal stories, we follow Sergel's path from the elegance of the royal court to the drama of everyday life. Together, we explore his many expressions, from classical marble portraits to humorous caricatures and emotionally charged sketches. The exhibition is a story about art, creativity, and the complexity of human nature.

A group tour gives you the opportunity to delve deeper into the exhibition's themes and works, with room for conversation, reflection, and new perspectives, led by the National Museum's art experts.

Bookable times

Group tours can be booked now, tours begin from Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

• Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 11:30–15:30
• Thursday: 11:30–19:30
• Saturdays and Sundays: 11:30–15:30

The tour lasts approximately 60 minutes.

Number of participants

Maximum 20 people per group.

For safety reasons and to ensure you have an optimal experience, we do not offer tours to groups of more than 20 people. If you arrive at the museum with a larger group, extra participants will not be able to participate in the tour.

Payment

You can pay by invoice after the tour, or by card or Swish right before the tour at the museum's ticketing desk.

Group tour participants get to skip the queue at the main entrance. Simply take the entrance to the right and show your booking confirmation to our staff.

Cancellations and changes

If you wish to cancel or change your reservation, you must notify bokningen@nationalmuseum.se no less than 2 weeks before your visit.

You will be charged the full price of the tour if you cancel less than 2 weeks before your visit.
