We embark on a journey of discovery through the collections and make a few selected stops in the areas of art, crafts and design. Experience both newly acquired works of art and older favourites in this 60-minute guided tour of the National Museum.
During the tour, we encounter a variety of genres and discuss concepts such as the art canon and what makes certain works stand out as highlights while others fall into oblivion.
The museum's presentation of its collections follows an imaginary timeline through the beautiful halls, where art, crafts and design are displayed together to provide a deeper understanding and more perspectives on different eras.
