About the event
Nationalmuseum and the Royal Swedish Ballet School, both deeply rooted in history, are at the same time in constant motion forward. In the project Art in Motion, dance and visual art meet as movement enters the still space and opens up new perspectives.Working with choreographer Madeleine Karlsson, young dancers create solos in dialogue with the museum’s artworks. Through repetition and change, dance and art interact, deepening our way of seeing the world, ourselves, and art as a living path in life.
