The exhibition was on display from September 8–October 27, 2019 at the Institut Suédois in Paris.
How do designs evolve? How do designers and producers work? Using exampels from the NM& project – which has resulted in the furniture and fittings for Nationalmuseum's restaurant – working material, sketches, and films that describes what can happen were presented.
Whether for furniture, tableware or lamps, all the different stages of creation were shown for about twenty objects, helping the viewer understand the evolution of the design as well as the steps to go from prototype to series manufacturing.
Designpreocesser: NM& was shown at Nationalmuseum, Stockholm, October 13, 2018–June 9, 2019.
Designprocesser: NM& was, along with Hem x 6 which presented six newly renovated private apartments of the Institut Suédois in Paris, part of the institute’s focus on Swedish design and craftmanship during the autumn 2019.
